Soviet Front (2021)

"Soviet Front" is a 1-4 player wargame simulation of the 1941-45 war between the Axis and the Soviet Union which features unusual and unpredictable systems for combat, movement, reinforcements, resources and so on. The purpose of this is to create a 'fog of war' so that a player is not only uncertain of the enemy's actual strength and effectiveness but also his own as well. The time required to play the game varies from the quick single turn Blitzkrieg scenario to the lengthy 48 turn Great Patriotic War. The game consists of a rulebook, counters, map, playsheet, 6 six-sided dice (3 white, 2 blue and 1 red) and a box. 2 opaque cups are also required. The Axis forces are represented by German, SS and allied units (Italy, Romania, Hungary, Finland and other sympathisers) and the Soviet Union by Soviet and Guard units.
